yeast infections are caused by candida, which happens when tiny micro organisms, that naturally lives in our body, growth multiplies too quickly and our body is not able to handle it, and we get a yeast infection. The micro organisms, or yeast, that lives naturally in our body is good for us in the right number that our body naturally produces, as it helps keeps the vagina clean and free from infection. Our body is usually able to find the perfect balance that is needed, however when there is heat, humidity, too much intercourse, wearing too tight of clothing, wearing nylon underwear, etc. it gets thrown off, and the yeast multiplies too quickly, causing candida.
Some of the symptoms for yeast infections may include any or all of the following: burning and irritation in the vagina, itching, whitish mucous vaginal discharge, redness and swelling, and a musty odor that comes from the vagina. You have probably tried antibiotics in the past; the main reason being is because if you have been to the doctor about your yeast infection, they will always give you an antibiotic. I am assuming, as it did with mine, that it treated your symptoms for a time, but you got another yeast infection, whether it be a couple weeks later or a year later. The reason being is because antibiotics kill off not only the bad yeast, which is great, but it also kills off the necessary and good yeast, not such a good thing. The good yeast is what is helping keep us clean and free from infection.

Eating garlic everyday as it helps to fight off infections. Add 2 or 3 drops of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water, and rinse the vagina with the mixture. Take a vitamin C supplement to help boost your immune system.
There are also some things to keep in mind even when you are suffering from a yeast infection to help ensure you not getting another one. It is important to wear only cotton underwear and to make sure that you do not wear too tight of jeans, pants or leggings, and to avoid wearing fragranced deodorants or sprays in the vaginal region.
It is always a good idea not only for yeast infections, but for your general health to be sure to eat healthy and get plenty of exercise and drink enough water. There are lots of natural ways to start treating your yeast infection today, and you can have it gone in just a few days, and never have to worry about getting another yeast infection!
